No part of the Denver metro area is more competitive than Boulder County, where home prices are up around 29% over a year ago. But KB Home can deliver you a new ‘paired-home’ at Flatiron Meadows in Erie, 17 minutes from downtown Boulder, at just over $500,000.
That home is a 1671 Villa paired-home design (you can tour a model today), three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths plus a loft, 1,671 sq. feet of finished space, plus a two-car attached garage. It will deliver early in 2022; priced now from around $516,000, with time left to order personal options and upgrades.
These KB Home plans, pairing two full-sized homes together, have sold rapidly in Flatiron Meadows, where they’re surrounded by newer single-family homes that show recent sales from anywhere in the $700,000s to well over $1 million.
Sales of Villas are being pushed along by local buyers who like the easy commute either into Boulder or to north Denver office campuses; but also by ones moving in from other states, that want to be close to Boulder County’s spectacular scenery and recreation.
“We fell in love with it,” says Jill Koppers from the Chicago area, who was touring KB Home’s Villa models after multiple trips here to scout out a move. “People are much friendlier here.”
She added that like many buyers she and her husband, a construction executive, greatly prefer buying a new home over a resale that they’d need to fix up; and admire KB Home’s quality.
That combined demand (some buyers have purchased homes sight-unseen using KB Home’s virtual showings) drives fast sales at Flatiron Meadows. You’ll hear about the Boulder Valley Schools, including well-rated Centaurus High, that serve this part of Erie two miles west of the town’s rec center on Erie Parkway.
If you have time to wait, you’ll see a new area of sites that KB Home is opening, where you can choose from five different floor plans, showing features such as a main floor study, a home office, or a finished basement. KB Home’s designers will guide you through a wide array of finishes at their large design studio where you’ll personalize your home within your budget.
And Villas all have energy performance and water conserving features that are certified by a third-party inspector to meet or beat Energy Star and EPA’s WaterSense standards.
From I-25 take Erie Parkway west six miles to a left on N. 111th Street; or from Boulder take Arapahoe Road east seven miles to 111th and then turn north.
